Our MISSION is: to be a reference point in the system of integrated mobility and to guarantee quality, safety and efficiency in harmony with the environment and the socio-territorial evolution. The Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (Milan transport company), which has been a joint stock company since 3 January 2001, guarantees public transport services over an area of 1,052 square kilometres covering the whole city of Milan and 88 towns in the province, with a resident population of about 3 million inhabitants. ATM continuously invests in order to improve the public transport service offered and in pursuit of satisfying its customers, innovating all aspects of the company: vehicles, networks, plants, information to customers, and maximising safety and reliability.
